At work on Dec. 17th I was showering a resident, he freaked out hit me in the head and pushed me down landed on the floor while twisted funny. Pretty basic right....apparently not. Ugh! So even though I reported it that day, even went to the ER complaining of back pain my employer Arbor Oaks and SAIF (aka: workmans comp.) does not believe that I could have received such a bad injury by a man about 200 lbs pushing me to the ground. I am so frustrated. Arbor Oaks told SAIF that the reason that I wasn't getting any hours this month was because I asked off so many days. Seriously! I asked off 5 days so that I could go to Utah to visit some family and friends. Of course I asked off all Sundays because I'm the relief society president and have more than one responsibility to take care of on those days. That's a great reason to give me....what 7 days of work in a 31 day month. The best part is that 2 of the days that I worked where on Sundays which I had asked off. URG!!
So as of right now I'm am dealing with great amount of pain because I am not on any pain medication because the Dr. put me on a steroid to help increase my bodies natural ability to relieve pain. Great idea but dealing with the pain until it starts to work AWFUL!! I can't believe how much pain I have been in the past couple of days. Oh....and let me tell you just how excited I am go to to physical therapy tomorrow. Oh the joys of getting injured at work!
Darn it I was hoping that some how me writing some of my frustration about that situation would I don't know some how put me at ease and calm down a little bit....I think that I'm just even more angry now. AAAAHHHHHH!!! I can't afford rent or anything else for that matter and your going to make me pay for an injuring at work that I did NOTHING wrong in. I HATE IT!!!
