I said YES!!

Jake landed on the 'get married' place in the game of life and pulled out the ring.

Will you make me the happiest man on earth for time and ALL eternity?

YES!! (I promise I was just really happy, there was no tears regardless of what it looks like)

First kiss as an engaged couple!
So technically I wasn't surprised by when Jake asked me to marry me. We had it all planned out that it would happen as soon as possible after Jake spoke to my father. We wanted it this way so that we could get the sealing cancellation completed as soon as possible so that June would actually happen. :)

I didn't however know his plan of how he would propose. I did tell him before in random conversation that I hoped to have a picture of him down on one knee. That no matter what happened to me with my memory in the future that I would have a picture to help me remember the perfect moment. We had dinner at Stephanie Bailey's house. It was a perfect setting because the first time that Jake and I really started to like one another and begin the whole dating process we had a party at Stephanie's house. No one else came except for Jake and I, Stephanie of course cause it was her house and Spencer Wasden. It just so happens that Steph and Spenc are now a couple so we had dinner and played games just like that night a few months ago. We made Italian dinner which is Jake and I's favorite. Afterwards playing the game called 'Life'.

When I passed the 'get married' spot nothing happened. Spencer thought that Jake should have done it then, but I have to tell you that I loved that Jake waited until he got to the 'get married' place to actually get down on his knees and proposed. I couldn't identify that reason that I loved that he waited until his car reached the place at first but I realize now that to me it meant that He really wanted to marry me, that it wasn't just the other way around. That him waiting tell it was his turn to reach that spot. I don't know if I'm explaining myself well but it was beautiful...perfect the way that he did it.

The sad part is that I couldn't remember a word that Jake said when he asked me to marry him. Thankfully Jake remembered :D Jake said," Sondai, will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me for time and all eternity?!" He of course already knew the answer, but I think he was pleasantly surprised by my reaction. The word he expected...a fervent YES was replied, but the pictures some what capture my intense joy and peace that I felt as I saw him kneel on one knee before me. I again received the spiritual confirmation that the Lord was pleased and that me marrying Jake is right.

In five months I will be marrying an incredible man. The perfect man for me! So many things to do. I'm so excited and truly happy!
